Day one at gamescom dev - ✅🔥
Steady traffic at the booth all day. The most common question is some version of "there's a game industry in Cyprus?" and the follow-up is usually surprise at how large it is.
The report has done most of the work: almost everyone who picks it up asks for a printed copy. And a few people said it is the first real data they have ever seen on the region.
Unlimit and Mellow are on the booth with us and have supported this delegation from the start. Invest Cyprus is backing our presence here this week, too. Thank you to all three of you 🤝
➡️ Tomorrow, August 25: our General Manager Andrey Ivashentsev speaks at 13:45 on Stage 5, Confex Level 2 with the talk "The Last White Spot in EU Game Dev: How Cyprus Quietly Built 400+ Studios".
➡️ Cyprus Nights in Cologne opens in the evening. We are overbooked and registration is closed, but a lot of very good companies are coming and we are looking forward to hosting them!
We are at booth B03 until then and from Wednesday you will find us at the Games from Cyprus country pavilion in Hall 3.2!
