Senior Quantitative Analyst - Trading Risk & Fraud

Traze

📍 Cyprus
💼 Full time
🏠 Work mode not specified

Описание вакансии

Zeal Group is an award-winning global FinTech powerhouse with 700+ professionals across London, Europe, Asia, MENA, and South America. Through our subsidiary Traze, we deliver advanced multi-asset trading solutions across Gold, Oil, FX, Indices, and Cryptocurrencies, built for today's fast-moving, high-volatility markets.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to own the technical and analytical backbone of our trading risk and fraud function. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role — not a management position. You will design, build, and maintain the systems that detect toxic flow, latency arbitrage, and abusive trading behavior, and you will use that technology yourself to investigate, classify, and act on risk. You'll report to the Head of Risk, working with a high degree of autonomy and minimal oversight.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience and strong foundation with machine learning and data science in financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the backend infrastructure, monitoring tools, and detection algorithms used to identify toxic flow, latency arbitrage, and abusive trading patterns
• Use the systems you build to investigate trading and non-trading activity, detect suspicious behavior, and report findings
• Analyze existing and new trading products and promotions for fraud/abuse exposure and propose mitigations
• Classify clients to support A-book/B-book decisioning and profitable execution outcomes
• Own end-to-end delivery: from raw data extraction and hypothesis testing through to production deployment of monitoring and alerting systems
• Continuously identify gaps in current processes and design new logic to increase automation and reduce manual intervention
• Mentor others on technical and analytical approaches as the function grows

Requirements

Must have

• 3+ years' experience in Quant/Trading OR FX/CFD brokerage environment, in a quantitative, risk, or analytics role
• Proficient experience with Python is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience independently building and owning production-grade tools, dashboards, or systems (not just using existing ones)
• Can provide evidence of data science related projects, ideally end-to-end driven projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial trading products, trading conditions, and execution mechanics
• Understanding of fraud/abuse patterns in trading (toxic flow, latency arbitrage, manipulation)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
• Comfortable working with high ownership and low supervision; proactive and self-directed

Preferred

• Experience with SQL.
• Experience or understanding of A/B-book risk models, transaction cost analysis, or execution analytics
• Exposure to regulatory reporting (MAR, FCA, CySEC, ASIC)
• Track record of mentoring junior analysts

This role suits someone who wants to build something from the ground up and use it, not just analyze data others have prepared. If you're a quant who thinks in systems, takes initiative without being asked, and wants ownership over a real risk function — this is built for you.

Senior Business Systems Analyst

JetBrains

📍 Limassol
🏢 Business Applications Platform Engineering
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified

Описание вакансии

At JetBrains, code is our passion. Ever since we started, back in 2000, we have strived to make the strongest, most effective developer tools on earth. By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up production, freeing developers to grow, discover, and create.

The Business Application Development team builds and supports internal and customer-facing systems for licenses, subscriptions, billing, payments, reporting, and many other business-critical functions. Our domain is complex, our systems are interconnected, and there’s always a lot going on. We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the team and support our efforts.

We’re not looking for someone who will just write requirements. We want someone who likes digging into problems, understanding how things actually work, talking to people, asking uncomfortable questions, and helping teams move toward practical and sustainable solutions.

What you’ll actually do:

You’ll work closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA engineers, as well as sales, customer success, and other product teams, to figure out what problem we’re really solving, why it matters, what constraints exist, and what solution makes the most sense long term.

A core responsibility is helping people stay focused on the actual goal instead of jumping straight to a “we need this exact feature” reaction. Though sometimes bigger, the right solution is often smaller than originally expected. The main job is frequently untangling the chaos and helping everyone align.

In this role, you will:

• Lead discovery and requirements discussions.
• Organize and improve the intake and analysis process within the team.
• Structure requirements to support effective development.
• Help developers and QA engineers during implementation when new questions arise.
• Investigate unfamiliar areas independently rather than waiting for someone to explain.
• Think about edge cases, dependencies, risks, and long-term maintainability.
• Help reduce ambiguity around projects.

We care deeply about balancing business value, implementation effort, technical limitations, and platform strategy. We’re not fans of overengineering, but we also don’t like quick hacks that create bigger problems down the line.

We’ll be happy to bring you on board if you:

• Have solid experience in business analysis within software development teams.
• Understand how software development works end-to-end.
• Know how to structure complex information and turn messy discussions into clear requirements.
• Can stay focused on the core problem and avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Are comfortable discussing implementation details with engineers and understanding technical constraints.
• Can independently investigate unfamiliar functionality and connect dots across systems.
• Care about the overall result, not only your direct area of responsibility.
• Are proactive, curious, and comfortable working in an environment where not everything is perfectly documented.
• Can adapt your communication style and analytical approach depending on the people and context involved.

It’d be a plus if you:

• Can work with SQL.
• Can read code well enough to understand what’s going on.
• Have experience with technically complex systems or system analysis.
• Have worked with billing, subscriptions, payments, or within other business-critical domains.

A few important things to know:

Our domain is genuinely complex. There’s a lot of history, many integrations, and a large codebase. You won’t learn everything in a month, and that’s okay.

We also continuously adjust processes and ways of working. If you like environments where everything is fixed and strictly defined forever, we’re probably not the best match. If you enjoy figuring things out, improving processes, and helping teams work more effectively together, you’ll likely feel very comfortable here.

Even though you’ll get the team’s full support and onboarding help, we really value people who are curious enough to explore things on their own.

Why join JetBrains?

• Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience
• Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office
• Remote work. Spend up to 30 days per year working remotely from abroad
• Extra time off. More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love
• Medical insurance allowance. Enjoy peace of mind for you and your family
• Learning and development opportunities. Access to conferences, courses, and language classes
• Language classes. Pick up the local language or sharpen your English skills
• Fuel your day. Enjoy a hot meal or receive a lunch allowance on workdays
• Mental health support. To help you feel your best, we provide easy access to professional mental health services
• Sports benefit. Enjoy an on-site gym or sports club stipend
• Internal events. Join company-wide celebrations and team gatherings
* Some benefits may vary depending on location.

Backend Engineer (all genders) - Remote Iberia & Southern Europe

Linro

📍 Cyprus
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified

Описание вакансии

About

Linro is a cloud security company building a real-time, agentic cloud-security platform. Teams ship with AI. AI ships with Linro.

Cloud infrastructure changes constantly, and increasingly it's AI agents making those changes, not people. Most security tools only catch problems after the fact. Linro works differently. We enforce what's allowed at every stage, from commit to production. We stop bad changes before they ship, and fix problems in real time once they're live.

We have each been on the receiving end of this problem: running cloud security at scale, building the platforms underneath it, and shipping in regulated systems where a wrong change isn't an option. Founded in Berlin in 2026 and built fully remote across Europe, Linro has a platform that's real and working, with plenty still to shape.

The role

You would be one of our first engineers, building alongside the founding team. At the heart of the product is a stream-first policy engine that evaluates compliance as SQL across past, present and future infrastructure state. It has to be fast, correct and impossible to route around. You'd own large parts of it outright.

What you will do

• Design and build core backend services in Go that evaluate policy against cloud infrastructure changes in real time.
• Take a core area of the platform and own it end to end, from first design through running it in production.
• Build the simulation and enforcement path that blocks or auto-remediates non-compliant changes before they reach production.
• Stay close to customers, see how your work lands in the real world, and fold what you learn back into the product.

What we are looking for

• Strong backend engineering experience in a compiled, statically typed language (Go, Rust, Java, C++, C#, or similar). We build in Go, so you are either already a Go engineer or someone who will get into it quickly.
• You know SQL well and think naturally in relational and columnar data models. It’s central to how our engine works.
• A product mindset. You care about the user and the problem, not only the ticket, and you have opinions about what to build, not just how.
• A problem-to-solution instinct. You can take an ambiguous problem, find the simple core, and ship something that solves it.
• End-to-end ownership. You own a problem from design through production and operation, and you see the hard parts through.
• Hands-on experience operating and running at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure). Not just deploying to it, actually running it: access management, networking or the failure modes.
• Hands-on with Terraform or Pulumi, and an understanding of how infrastructure-as-code actually behaves in practice.
• You build with AI coding tools as a normal part of your workflow and have a point of view on where they help and where they don't. We build guardrails for these tools, so we want engineers with deep, hands-on experience in agentic development.

Nice to have

• Background in cloud or cyber security, CSPM, CNAPP, or compliance (e.g. SOC 2, PCI, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Experience building policy or rule engines.
• Experience with high-availability, scaling, and eventually-consistent, event-driven system design.
• Production experience running Kubernetes clusters.
• Early-stage startup experience, or having been a founding engineer before.

How we work

We are 100% remote across Europe and hire anywhere within roughly two hours of Central European Time (CEST). We get the whole team together in person somewhere in Europe once a quarter for a few days. We work async by default, write things down, and protect people's focus time.

What we offer

• Real ownership. As an early engineer you design, ship, run and own a genuine surface area of the product, with direct contact with users and a say in how we build.
• Meaningful equity. You are an early employee, and your stake reflects it.
• Competitive salary, benchmarked to the market.
• A quarterly European offsite, and a team that takes both the mission and each other’s time seriously.

The honest version

This is early. Priorities will shift, and some of what you build early will change as we learn. There is no playbook waiting for you. If you want a highly structured environment with a mature codebase and a clear roadmap for the next two years, this is not it. If you want to shape a product and a category from close to the start, and you like the idea of building the thing that keeps AI agents from breaking production, we should talk.

Compensation Range: €56K - €83K

• Build and run continuous monitoring for data freshness, completeness, quality, and reconciliation breaks; investigate incidents and drive them to resolution;
• Develop LLM agents to accelerate analysis, tooling, documentation, and automation across the finance data stack.

What We're Looking For

• You get real satisfaction from the moment a reconciliation finally ties out;
• You're equally happy with a quiet afternoon of investigation and a call where you defend your numbers to Finance leadership;
• Strong Python and SQL experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role;
• Experience building data models with dbt;
• Commercial experience with real-world financial or payments data, and comfort designing systems that gracefully handle messy, duplicated, delayed, or inconsistent input;
• Experience owning reconciliation and/or data-quality processes, including monitoring and incident resolution;
• A strong ownership mindset. You'll set direction, ask good questions, and keep everyone aligned.

Perks And Benefits

• Open-minded teams, a welcoming and inclusive company culture, plus the opportunity to make a real difference with a game-changing health tech product.
• A competitive salary package based on your unique expertise, skillset, and impact on the product plus stock options.

Strategy & Operations Manager

TradingView

📍 Limassol
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified

Описание вакансии

TradingView is the world’s largest financial analysis platform with more than 100M users across 180+ countries.

We build tools that help traders and investors make informed decisions — from advanced charting and market data to collaboration and publishing features. Our products are used daily by millions of individuals and trusted by companies like Revolut, Binance, and CME Group.

We’re continuing to grow and scale our platform, and we’re looking for people who care about product quality, take ownership of their work, and want to build systems used by a global audience.

About The Role

We are building a small, high-impact Strategy & Operations team within the CEO / COO Office to solve some of the most important and ambiguous problems across the business.

We are looking for someone who combines strong problem-solving skills with a bias for execution. You will take problems where the answer is not obvious, get deep into the data and how the business actually works, identify the root cause, quantify the impact, develop a solution and drive it through implementation.

The problems will vary significantly: cost leakage, vendor economics, payments, financial processes, operational inefficiencies, systems, commercial questions and other areas where we believe the business can work better.

This is not a project management, coordination or reporting role. You will own problems end-to-end and will be expected to work independently with limited direction.

We are particularly interested in people who have developed this skill set either in top-tier strategy consulting (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain), in a strong analytical role at a high-growth technology company, or ideally through a combination of both.

A significant part of the role will also be using Claude and other AI tools as a force multiplier. We are looking for someone who is already an advanced AI user and can build repeatable workflows, automate analysis and turn manual work into scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ambiguous business problems and structure them into clear hypotheses, analyses and actions
• Dive into data and underlying processes to identify root causes rather than treating symptoms
• Quantify financial and operational impact and assess potential solutions
• Run deep dives across areas such as vendor spend, payments, banking, market data, subscriptions, financial processes and internal operations
• Build practical models, analyses and decision-support tools from imperfect or incomplete data
• Work directly with Finance, Product, Engineering and other teams to understand how things actually work and implement improvements
• Develop recommendations and make clear decisions on trade-offs, rather than simply presenting analysis
• Drive initiatives through implementation and measure whether the expected impact was delivered
• Use Claude and other AI tools extensively to accelerate research, analysis and execution
• Build AI-powered workflows and automations that eliminate recurring manual work and make solutions scalable
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership

What makes you the perfect fit

Problem solving & analytical ability

• 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment, ideally including top-tier strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain or equivalent) and/or a strong analytical role in a high-growth technology company
• Exceptional structured problem-solving skills and ability to turn an ambiguous question into a clear approach
• Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills
• Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills and ability to work with messy or incomplete data
• Strong business judgment: able to identify what actually matters and focus on the highest-impact opportunities
• Comfortable going deep into unfamiliar areas and learning quickly

Execution

• Strong ownership mindset: you do not stop at the recommendation; you drive the solution through implementation
• Comfortable working independently with limited direction
• Able to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders as well as operational teams
• Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal

AI & automation

• Advanced user of Claude or similar AI tools, well beyond basic prompting and summarisation
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve how you work: research, data analysis, modelling, documentation, decision-making and execution
• Able to design and build repeatable AI-powered workflows and automations
• Strong curiosity about new AI capabilities and a willingness to continuously improve your own operating system
• Technical skills are not required, but the ability to work with tools, APIs, spreadsheets, scripts or automation platforms is a strong advantage

Will be a plus

• Experience in both top-tier consulting and a high-growth technology company
• Experience working directly with founders or senior executives
• Experience with payments, procurement, vendor management, SaaS, ERP or financial systems
• Experience building automations or AI-powered workflows
• Experience in fintech, marketplaces or other complex technology businesses

What we offer you

• Flexible working hours and a hybrid work format
• Well-equipped offices for focused and collaborative work
• A global, distributed team of 500+ professionals
• Learning, mentorship, and long-term career growth
• Performance-based bonuses
• TradingView Premium access
• Regular team events and company-wide meetups

Join the TradingView team and help us build a product used by millions of traders and investors worldwide. We look forward to hearing from you!
