We're building out our observability practice and need a senior engineer who can own it end to end. This is a hands-on role. You'll design and operate the telemetry stack that gives our engineering teams real visibility into production — across a hybrid AWS and on-premise environment, at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full observability stack: metrics (VictoriaMetrics), logs (OpenSearch), and traces (OpenTelemetry) — from pipeline design to day-2 operations
• Architect and run VictoriaMetrics cluster topology (vmstorage/vminsert/vmselect), including vmagent scraping, remote write configuration, vmalert rules, and cardinality control
• Operate OpenSearch clusters: index lifecycle management (ISM), hot-warm-cold architecture, shard tuning, and ingest pipelines via Data Prepper
• Build and maintain OTEL Collector pipelines — receivers, processors, exporters — and instrument services across Java, Python, and JS/TS stacks (auto and manual)
• Run Kafka as the telemetry transport layer (OTEL Collector → Kafka → backends), including topic design, partition strategy, consumer group lag monitoring, and throughput tuning for high-volume telemetry
• Manage log shipping infrastructure using Fluent Bit, Vector, or Fluentd; define structured logging standards and field normalization across services
• Build Grafana dashboards and alerting that engineers actually use — clear, actionable, with well-structured variables and thresholds
• Work with platform and application teams to improve sampling strategies (head/tail), batching, and context propagation across distributed services
• Contribute to incident response, post-mortems, and reliability improvements driven by observability signals
• Mentor engineers on observability practices, tooling, and structured logging standards

Requirements:

• 6+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering role, with at least 2 years focused on observability tooling at production scale
• Deep hands-on experience with VictoriaMetrics (or Prometheus) — MetricsQL/PromQL, exporters, service discovery, remote write, downsampling, and retention management
• Solid OpenSearch or Elasticsearch skills: cluster operations, Query DSL, ISM policies, and ingest pipeline design
• Production experience with OpenTelemetry: Collector configuration, OTLP, context propagation, and instrumentation across multiple languages
• Strong Kafka skills — producer/consumer patterns, consumer group management, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and JMX-based monitoring. Strimzi experience a plus if you've run Kafka on Kubernetes
• Proficiency with log shippers (Fluent Bit, Vector, Fluentd) and structured log parsing/normalization
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (operators, Helm), Argo CD/GitOps, and Terraform/Ansible
• Comfortable in a hybrid AWS + on-prem environment; solid understanding of networking as it applies to scraping and shipping pipelines
• Scripting ability in Bash or Python for automation and tooling
• Strong communication skills — you can explain observability tradeoffs clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike
• English proficiency

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join one of our most established products - Cupid Media.

This role is designed for a strong product analyst who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a Product Analytics Team Lead position. You will initially focus on hands-on analytics while gradually taking ownership of analytical initiatives, stakeholder management, and team leadership responsibilities with support from experienced leaders.

Main tasks:

Product Analytics & Business Impact

• Investigate changes in product, marketing, and business KPIs and identify root causes
• Conduct user behavior, funnel, retention, and cohort analyses

About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Product Designer to lead the design vision for Deel’s AI vertical—one of the most ambitious and strategically important areas of the company. This role sits at the intersection of conversational AI, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation, shaping the experiences that define Deel’s next-generation platform.

You’ll own the end-to-end design strategy for our AI products, including Deel AI, Akai, conversational interfaces, AI-powered agents, and developer experience tools. As financial complexity grows with Kraken's global footprint, this role architectures and provides hands-on building to scale growth. Finance operations at a globally regulated crypto exchange managing close cycles, reconciliations, reporting, treasury monitoring, and controls validation all generate substantial manual effort tied to critical financial and regulatory obligations. Errors carry audit, SOX, security ,and regulatory consequences.

The Opportunity

You will serve as the primary architect and builder of the AI-native finance operating system at Kraken. This role spans two simultaneous horizons: deploying production automation now and redesigning the finance architecture for the long term. Responsibilities span five core areas:

Assess and map Finance operations

• Evaluate how financial work currently flows across the organization, including close, reconciliations, treasury, reporting, controls validation, and audit preparation.
• Identify capability gaps, manual bottlenecks, and integration failure points across systems including NetSuite, BlackLine, Kyriba, Fireblocks, and Lukka.
• Benchmark current operations against best-in-class practices and emerging AI capabilities to build the Finance automation roadmap, prioritized by operational leverage and regulatory risk.
• Work directly with accounting, FP&A, treasury, and finance operations teams to translate process pain points into buildable automation requirements.

Architect the agentic finance platform

• Design the long-term architecture for an AI-native finance operating system. Define how agentic systems interact with financial infrastructure, data pipelines, and control and reporting frameworks.
• Evaluate Kraken's existing finance systems stack from first principles, including platforms and the interfaces and data flows between them. Identify opportunities to simplify the stack, reduce manual intervention, and define a scalable target architecture.
• Build an agentic finance layer that runs alongside the existing stack today, automating workflows while defining the migration path toward a more scalable, AI-native architecture over time.

Build and deploy production finance automation

• Deploy production-grade agentic workflows that automate finance operations: reconciliations, close processes, audit and reporting preparation, treasury monitoring, financial analytics, and controls validation.
• Build using modern AI tooling including Claude and Anthropic APIs, Python-based orchestration, n8n or equivalent workflow engines, and MCP or similar agent coordination layers.
• Integrate internal and external systems by connecting APIs, data sources, and tools into unified automated workflows that deliver real operational leverage.
• Maintain human oversight where appropriate. Design for auditability and control integrity, not just efficiency.

Own AI governance for Finance

• Establish guardrails that allow automation and agent behavior to operate safely in a SOX-regulated financial environment. Define which controls are maintained, which are redesigned, and how workflow scope preserves control integrity.
• Build frameworks covering data classification, auditability, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, failure detection, rollback mechanisms, regulatory compliance, and audit-ready design documentation.
• Classify all automation builds by risk tier before work begins. No build goes to production without a named Process Owner, documented data flows, access controls, and audit logging confirmed.
• Serve as the Finance domain representative in Kraken's Automate Everything Center of Excellence, contributing to governance standards and cross-functional build alignment.

Build the foundation for AI-native Finance

• Create reusable frameworks, workflow templates, and documentation so that future Finance team members can safely build on top of the platform without relying on a single specialist.
• Train finance professionals on AI-assisted tools and workflows deployed in production. Drive adoption and operational independence, not just delivery.
• Build metrics, dashboards, and performance frameworks to measure efficiency gains, cost reduction, risk outcomes, and ROI from automation and AI initiatives.
• Provide leadership reporting on operational improvements, risk posture, and the finance platform roadmap.

What You Bring

This role is designed for a technical builder and systems architect who has already deployed agentic systems in production.

• Proven track record designing, deploying, and scaling agentic AI systems in production environments used by others, not just experimentation or internal demos.
• Deep understanding of LLM orchestration, multi-agent system design, and the failure modes of autonomous AI workflows in high-stakes operational environments.

The AI Engineer, plays a critical role in shipping features faster

while maintaining quality and reliability. This role focuses on using AI tools like Claude to accelerate development workflows, shipping robust backend solutions at Deel Speed

without sacrificing excellence. By leveraging AI as a co-pilot while maintaining strong

engineering fundamentals, this role is essential for building scalable, production-grade features

that drive business objectives and enhance user satisfaction across 150+ countries.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, Designers, and QA professionals to understand requirements, scope features, and create seamless experiences.
• Use AI coding tools like Claude to accelerate feature development—generating code, handling boilerplate, and writing scaffolding. You review all AI-generated code critically before shipping.
• Build and ship AI products, workflows, and agents
• From discovery to deployment, provide your technical input throughout all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle, including architecture decisions, design feedback, and deployment strategy.
• Collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, databases, and infrastructure. Help find and fix bugs at Deel Speed while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ship features end-to-end with ownership: design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and iterate.
• Ensure top-tier products and services through quality engineering, rigorous testing, and attentive, customer-focused development.
• Communicate constantly with cross-functional teams. Explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders. Translate requirements into solutions. Keep everyone aligned.
• Unblock teams by answering questions clearly, debugging issues fast, and proposing solutions to ambiguous problems.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a Backend/Software Engineer. You've shipped real AI products, features, debugged production issues, and thought about scale.
• Experience developing with NodeJS or Python. You write clean, maintainable code comfortably. You understand patterns, conventions, and best practices. Syntax is muscle memory.
• You know SQL and NoSQL fundamentals. Particularly strong with PostgreSQL and ORM libraries (such as Sequelize, TypeORM, or similar). You can write queries, optimize performance, and design schemas with purpose.
• Demonstrated experience shipping real products using Claude. You've used AI to accelerate development and shipped features that work in production. You can prompt effectively, review AI-generated code critically, and know when to use AI versus write code manually.
• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal. You explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly. You write clear documentation, code comments, and Slack updates. You ask good questions and proactively share context. Strong remote collaboration skills. You excel in async communication. You proactively communicate status, blockers, and decisions. You've successfully worked in distributed teams.
• Adheres to business processes and systems to meet the company's quality requirements. You follow Deel's standards for code review, testing, deployment, and operational responsibility.
• Takes personal accountability for service excellence. You own your work from design to production. When something breaks, you fix it. When something's slow, you optimize it.
• Information security: Understands your role within the organization from an information security perspective and commits to protecting the organization's security and information assets. You follow best practices for secure coding, data handling, and compliance.

• Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

• Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
