DevOps Engineer (AWS/Hybrid Infrastructure)
Mayflower
📍 Limassol
🏢 Infrastructure
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified
Описание вакансии
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong, recent AWS experience to join our infrastructure team.
You will work in a hybrid environment spanning AWS, private OpenStack clouds, OKD, virtual machines, and bare-metal Linux servers. We are primarily looking for someone coming from an AWS/Linux/automation background.
Our platform serves hundreds of thousands of requests per second across many thousands of virtual machines. We are therefore looking for someone who is already comfortable working with high-load, business-critical production systems, rather than someone whose experience has been limited to small-scale or early-stage environments.
CORE STACK:
• AWS
• Terraform
• OpenStack (as a consumer: VMs, networking, storage)
• OKD / Kubernetes (OKD is the upstream of OpenShift)
• Helm / Helmfile
• Ansible
• GitLab CI/CD
• Linux
• Virtual machines and bare-metal servers
• Prometheus / VictoriaMetrics / Grafana
• ELK
Our dedicated platform teams operate the underlying OpenStack and OKD platforms, while your team owns and operates the workloads running on top of them. Previous OpenStack or OKD expertise is not required: you will not be responsible for building OpenStack or maintaining the OKD control plane, but you should be comfortable deploying, operating, and troubleshooting workloads running on these platforms.
Job Responsibilities
Typical tasks in this role include:
• Build and evolve AWS infrastructure with Terraform — extending existing modules and writing new ones — across compute, networking, storage, IAM, databases, and load balancing (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, ALB/NLB, IAM);
• Provision and manage OpenStack virtual machines and the Linux services running on them, as well as workloads running on bare-metal Linux hosts;
• Deploy and operate workloads in OKD using Helm and Helmfile, including maintaining charts, values, and templates, and troubleshooting deployments;
• Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments;
• Manage Linux systems with Ansible, including writing new roles and adapting existing ones;
• Own observability for your workloads: configure metric collection in Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics, maintain Grafana dashboards, set up and tune alerts, and work with centralized logging in ELK — collection, parsing, and helping teams find and understand issues in application and infrastructure logs;
• Work closely with Development and QA teams — supporting production systems as well as the test environments used for day-to-day development, and helping with deployments, environment configuration, infrastructure issues, and release blockers;
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, networking, Linux, CI/CD, and application platforms, including problems that span multiple systems;
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and take part in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
• Review infrastructure code and work with DevOps, Development, QA, and Platform teams on changes that cross team boundaries.
You’ll thrive here if you have
• Has strong, recent hands-on AWS experience in large-scale, high-traffic, business-critical production systems;
• Has solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code;
• Has practical experience running workloads in Kubernetes-based environments and working with Helm;
• Has experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI;
• Has hands-on experience with Ansible, including writing or maintaining roles;
• Understands infrastructure networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls/security groups, and connectivity troubleshooting;
• Has practical experience with metrics and alerting (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana) and centralized logging (ELK);
• Can troubleshoot complex problems independently and follow them across multiple layers of the stack;
• Is confident with Linux, virtual machines, and production infrastructure, is comfortable working outside fully managed cloud services, and understands what runs underneath the application. Comfortable using Bash, Python, or similar for automation.
Conditions
We know that great talent deserves great conditions, so here's what you can expect when joining us:
• EU-based employment contract and a 3-year Cyprus work visa with full support for your relocation and visa processes, including assistance for your family.

Business Development Partner
BackboneAI
📍 Limassol
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified
Описание вакансии
BackboneAI helps companies in Cyprus, mainly small and medium-sized ones, turn AI into real productivity.
We do two things:
• Training. Hands-on workshops that teach teams to use the best AI tools in their actual jobs: accounting, HR, sales, marketing, operations, management, finance.
• Automation. We build tools that take repetitive work off people's desks: quotes, reporting, invoice checks, contract review, customer replies.
Every workshop and every automation is built in-house. What we need now is someone who brings us the companies that need them.
What you will do
• Identify companies in Cyprus that would benefit from AI training or automation, mostly 20 to 200 people.
• Reach decision makers (CEO, COO, HR, Finance) through your network, LinkedIn, email, phone and local business events.
• Run the first conversation: understand how the company works, where time is lost, and whether we can help.
• Book qualified meetings, and prepare them so the next call is useful.
• Take part in closing alongside the founder at first, then close on your own as you learn the offer.
• Keep the pipeline up to date in our CRM.
At the start, the founder runs or joins every closing call with you. The goal is that within a few months you can run a deal from first contact to signature.
What we give you
• A high commission on every contract you bring in, with no cap.
• Offers that are easy to explain and have a clear price.
• Real use cases, demos and case material you can send to prospects.
• A CRM, prospecting tools and lead lists.
• A founder who joins your calls and answers prospects' technical questions.
• Training on our workshops and automations, so you understand what you sell.
Who we are looking for
• You already know people who run businesses in Cyprus. This matters more than anything else on this list.
• At least two years of B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally selling services, consulting, software or training.
• You are comfortable starting a conversation with someone you do not know, and following up without being pushy.
• You are curious about AI. You do not need to be technical, but you should use AI tools yourself.
• Fluent English (mandatory). Greek is a strong plus, as many of our clients prefer it.
• Based in Cyprus.
Pay
The first three months are commission only. There is no fixed salary during this period. You work as an independent contractor and earn a high commission on every contract you bring in, with no cap.
After that, if it works, we are open to bringing you in-house with a fixed salary plus commission.

At NAGA you are joining more than just a fintech company. You become part of a vibrant, diverse community of visionaries and problem-solvers fueled by curiosity and collaboration. Here, your influence goes beyond existing products – you are actively shaping the future of finance.
We have a start-up DNA and a corporate mindset. This means we are fast and flexible, like a start-up, but we are also committed to helping our people develop and thrive within our company. Thus, if you love a challenge, are passionate about making an impact and ready to grow alongside a dynamic, forward-thinking team, this is where you belong.
Challenge yourself. Challenge the future. Join NAGA!
We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform & Engineering team, reporting to the Head of BI. You will own the source-to-warehouse pipelines on Microsoft Fabric, harden the data-quality layer, and partner closely with the Analytics & Reporting team so that every Group KPI is computed once, correctly, and from a single semantic source. This is a senior individual-contributor role: you will set patterns, mentor mid-level Data Engineers in the team, and have direct influence on the data architecture across all reporting data flows.
Location: Nicosia, Cyprus (hybrid).
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and operate ingestion pipelines from our source systems (ERP, CRM, MT5, PSPs and banks, Everflow, BigQuery and multiple other sources) into Microsoft Fabric.
• Own the medallion architecture (bronze → silver → gold) pipeline transformations, including SCD Type 2 dimensional modelling for customer, broker server, product, and partner dimensions.
• Maintain the dbt-style semantic layer that feeds Power BI and Reporting in general so KPI definitions stay aligned across consumption layers.
• Set and meet pipeline SLAs — NRT, T+1 for the CEO daily pack at 09:00 CET, near-real-time freshness — and publish the Known Issues register when anything misses SLA.
• Optimise Fabric compute and storage cost, monitor capacity headroom, and recommend right-sizing.
• Maintain the data dictionary across bronze / silver / gold / NRT layers, and contribute to the KPI Dictionary as the single source of truth.
• Mentor the team on Fabric patterns, reconciliation discipline, and review craft. Be the engineer the team escalates to when a pipeline misbehaves.
Requirements:
• 5+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years on a modern cloud data platform (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or equivalent).
• Strong SQL — advanced window functions, query optimisation, ability to read execution plans — and a track record of building production pipelines at scale.
• Hands-on dimensional modelling experience: Kimball patterns, SCD Type 2, fact vs dimension tradeoffs.
• Python for pipeline code, plus experience with at least one orchestration / transformation framework (Fabric Data Pipelines, Azure Data Factory etc).
• Experience operating a streaming or near-real-time layer (KQL / Eventhouse, Kafka or equivalent).
• Strong reconciliation and data-quality discipline — you are comfortable owning a number end-to-end across multiple source systems and standing behind it.
• Git and code-review fluency, with disciplined documentation habits.
• Professional English, written and spoken.
Nice to have:
• Microsoft Fabric specifically: Lakehouse, Warehouse, Eventhouse, semantic-model authoring.
• Experience in a regulated industry — CFD / FX brokerage, banking, asset management, working awareness of CySEC, MiFID II, or equivalent prudential frameworks.
• Power BI semantic-layer authoring and DAX, even at a basic level — enough to speak fluently with the Analytics & Reporting team.
• PostgreSQL logical replication / azure_cdc / Fabric mirroring experience.
• ERP or trading-platform integration experience.
• ML and AI modelling.
Our stack:
Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Eventhouse), Power BI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Python, SQL and Git.
Benefits:
• Global Career Evolution: Ready to grow fast and achieve your dreams? At our company, your passion and curiosity are the keys to unlocking exciting opportunities. Dive into a dynamic, international environment where innovative ideas and diverse perspectives drive success. Here, every project is a chance to create meaningful impact, expand your horizons, and shape the future. With the support of a global team, your hard work will propel you to new heights.
• Skill Hyper-Growth: If you are eager to stay ahead and challenge the future, NAGA is the right place for you. With top-tier training, certifications, and cross-functional projects, you will gain the skills to lead and innovate. Our culture of continuous learning means you will never stop growing, and you will have endless opportunities to collaborate and share knowledge with others. Together, we turn bold ideas into realities that make a difference.
• Connection & Belonging: Belonging to a supportive, vibrant team makes all the difference. We believe that when people feel connected, they perform at their best. That is why we offer endless opportunities to build genuine relationships through exciting activities and shared experiences. With us, you are not just joining a team – you are becoming part of a diverse, empowering community where everyone lifts each other up and celebrates success together.
• Reward & Recognition: In a world that is always changing, we ensure you feel secure and appreciated.
