We’re proud to be a two-time “Great Place to Work” winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and a Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs (FlexJobs, 2025).
We are looking for an Lead QA Engineer (AI Native) to join a new product in our portfolio.
Your will join a small senior team of four, and we build in a truly AI-first way: almost all of our code is written by AI agents (Claude Code, Codex), while we design the processes, set the tasks and verify the results. The codebase already spans millions of lines, with complex components and integrations, and the product works with real money. Ensuring its reliability is a challenge no textbook covers yet. That's why we need someone to own it.
This is an individual contributor role in a flat team, with no people management. Your leverage comes from processes, automation and AI agents, not team size.
Your main tasks will be:
• Design and build the end-to-end testing pipeline for a product largely written by AI agents: pre-merge checks, nightly test runs, release and production gates;
• Define the quality strategy for AI-generated code: where risks are highest, what coverage is needed, and how to keep it sustainable at scale;
• Set up continuous automated UI testing across browsers and mobile devices, including AI-agent-driven testing; evaluate, choose and integrate external tools and services;
• Own product reliability from a technical perspective, with special focus on critical financial flows;
• Work closely with engineers and DevOps to embed quality into the development process and find the right trade-offs between speed and safety;
• Use AI agents daily to create, maintain and evolve tests and testing tooling;
• Drive quality initiatives proactively and share best practices with the team.
We expect from you:
• Proven experience building and owning testing processes in large, complex products with high reliability requirements, as a QA Architect, senior QA/SDET, or a senior engineer responsible for testing strategy;
• Strong engineering background: understanding of system architecture, backend services, CI/CD and deployment processes;
• Hands-on experience with test automation and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines;
• Daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) as a core part of your work, and genuine interest in AI-first development;
• High autonomy and ownership: ability to take loosely defined problems, propose solutions and drive them to completion without detailed specs;
• Willingness to work as a hands-on individual contributor in a small senior team.
• Fluent Russian

Product Manager II - Financial Crime Operations
Kraken
📍 Cyprus
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified
Описание вакансии
Building the Future of Open Finance
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page to understand what drives us and how we work.
The team
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken's Compliance Operations teams, including the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), investigations and enhanced due diligence, are the front line of how Kraken detects and responds to financial crime. The systems they run on sit within Core Services Product, alongside the engineering teams who build them. That covers alert ingestion, case management, investigator tooling and a growing set of automation and AI tools.
This role owns the product for that investigation platform. That means how an alert is created, enriched, grouped and suppressed. How it becomes a case. How an investigator reaches and documents a decision. And how every step is evidenced to a regulator or auditor. You'll start with the FIU, where the workflows are most complex and the audit bar is highest, then extend the platform across Compliance Operations.
The opportunity
• Own the investigation-platform roadmap end to end. Sequence it and defend it, and re-sequence it when a regulator or the RCO raises a P0.
• Define "done" before build starts. Write phased deliverables and acceptance criteria that Compliance signs off, and hold the line when scope moves.
• Get requirements in before engineering starts. Build the intake between Compliance policy, monitoring rules and case management so that changes don't reach investigators before their workflows are ready.
• Understand the process before building. Reconcile policy and SOPs against what investigators actually do and what the system actually does. Know the difference between a process fix and a technical one, and say which requests are in scope for engineering.
• Understand the pipeline well enough to challenge it: ingestion, profile and transaction resolution, suppression and grouping logic, and reconciliation between vendor output and case management. Be able to walk an auditor through it with live examples.
• Make auditability a first-class requirement: audit trail, data lineage, evidence retention, reviewer attribution, change-management controls, and validation of filtering and suppression logic.
• Ship automation and AI into regulated workflows with controls that hold up in Compliance, IT and privacy audits. That means human-in-the-loop design, explainability and ongoing monitoring.
• Run the operating rhythm: a shared forum with engineering and adjacent product managers, a regular stakeholder update, and one delivery status that everyone reads the same way.
What You Bring
• 4+ years of product management, including 2+ years on financial-crime systems such as transaction monitoring, investigations, case management, KYC/EDD or sanctions screening.
• Working knowledge of how an AML programme is examined, including the questions regulators, internal audit and model validation ask about monitoring, filing and control systems.
• The technical fluency to go deep on data flows and system design with engineers, and to spot when a design won't meet the requirement.
• A track record of shipping internal tools or operational platforms that measurably changed how an operations team works.
• Clear, concise writing, from PRDs and phase plans to audit walkthroughs and executive updates.
• The judgement to tell a senior stakeholder a timeline isn't realistic because the requirements aren't written yet, and to keep the relationship intact.
Nice to haves
• Direct FIU experience, such as alert disposition, SAR/STR filing or leading investigators.
• Crypto or digital-asset experience, such as blockchain analytics, wallet-level transaction analysis or focal vs counterparty logic.
• Experience shipping AI or ML into a regulated investigative workflow, including the control design.
• Build-vs-buy and vendor evaluation for monitoring or case-management tooling.
• Experience with programmes that span jurisdictions (UK, EU/MiCA, US).
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
Our commitment
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

Quantitative Researcher
IC
📍 Limassol
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified
Описание вакансии
Join our dynamic team at IC as a Quantitative Researcher and help shape the future of FinTech innovation. This full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Limassol offers you the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment. Apply now and take the next step in your career with us!
Who We Are:
IC is a global leader in trading with over 15 years of success, a strong international presence, and a team of skilled professionals, remains at the forefront of financial technology innovation. As an agile company that values growth and collaboration, we offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic industry where innovation meets excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
IC operates technology-driven trading and financial services business across a broad range of global markets, including FX, Metals, Indices, Commodities, Crypto. Market data and pricing inputs are sourced from multiple liquidity sources, each with different characteristics in terms of liquidity, latency and quality, and are analysed in the context of prevailing market conditions. Doing this well, at scale, across asset classes with very different microstructure is the core quantitative problem of the business. This role exists to build the next generation of that capability: models rather than static schedules.
You will own quantitative research projects end to end. The question is concrete: what is the fair price for this instrument right now, and how should it move with conditions and flow? You take it from hypothesis through modelling, simulation and validation to a production implementation built with our developers. Work that survives out-of-sample goes live and is measured; work that does not is dropped. You will work day to day with the trading, technology and other relevant IC teams with access to extensive market, quote, order and execution data across the instruments and markets relevant to IC’s activities.
This role is suited to someone who has built or calibrated pricing for a real quoting engineand wants to do it again with more asset classes, more data and fewer layers between research and production.
What You’ll Do:
• Reference price: Design and calibrate the price we build from multiple liquidity sources: source selection and weighting, stale and outlier handling, tick-time alignment and depth aggregation, with latency and quality measured per source.
• Dynamic pricing: Build dynamic spread, mark-up and price-adjustment models that respond to volatility, liquidity, inventory and order-flow characteristics, over horizons from milliseconds to full sessions.
• Signals: Research short-horizon predictive signals and flow-informed adjustments, and quantify what each is worth in spread capture net of hedge cost, not just in prediction accuracy.
• Multi-asset: Extend methods across asset classes: understand where FX, metals, index, commodity and crypto microstructure differ and where a single framework holds.
• Validation: Backtest, simulate, then run live in shadow. State your assumptions, especially how volume responds to spread; define what would show a model has degraded; and analyse how a counterparty could exploit it.
• Production: Take models live with our developers, own the mathematics inside the running system, monitor performance and retire what stops working.
Qualifications:
Essential
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience building and operating production data systems
• Minimum 5 years owning a production trading data platform at a broker, proprietary trading firm, market maker, bridge or trading-technology vendor, or exchange- adjacent business.
• You have priced electronically in a bank eFX desk, non-bank market maker, proprietary or high-frequency trading firm, hedge fund or brokerage quoting engine, and can describe a pricing model you built, what it earned and how it failed.
• Market microstructure: Deep working knowledge of adverse selection and markouts, latency and last look, inventory management, and how session structure and liquidity regimes move the fair price.
• Modelling: Strong applied statistics and time-series modelling on high-frequency data; machine learning where it earns its place; the judgement to know when a backtest is overfit.
• Python: Fluent research Python, comfortable with large tick datasets and SQL on columnar stores.
• Delivery: Able to take a problem from hypothesis through modelling, validation and production, and to explain the mechanism, not just the result, to traders and engineers.
Desirable
• C++, Rust or other high-performance production experience.
• Optimisation and simulation of quoting under inventory and risk constraints.
• Understanding of retail CFD and FX broker economics: spreads, hedging, liquidity providers and the flow patterns retail brokers see.
• Experience with MT4, MT5 or cTrader data, and with liquidity bridges or aggregators such as oneZero.
The interview process is short and technical. You will be asked to reason about a pricing
problem on data and to walk through your own past work, not to recite definitions.
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 (Hybrid Model after 2 months - 3 days from the office, 2 days from home)
Why Join Us? Experience Rewards Beyond Just a Job! Because You Matter.
