Senior ML Researcher (Spectrum)

JetBrains

📍 Limassol, Paphos
🏢 Spectrum
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified

Описание вакансии

Software engineers and AI agents alike suffer from the same problem: finding that one person or place that will answer their tough, specific question. Many solutions promise to solve this with similarity search in vector databases. Unfortunately, finding the answer is often a puzzle with pieces to be collected across a myriad of contradictory sources and cannot be solved without surgical search and careful reasoning.

Spectrum collects data from an organization's code, docs, and issues, and organizes knowledge in a unified ontology that AI agents can efficiently search through and reason over. We aim to revolutionize the semantic layer space for software-building organizations and move beyond specs that fall out of sync with code, introducing a living spec – one that's extracted from the whole system and used to keep it aligned. Spectrum is meant to be the single source of truth for all product and architectural knowledge.

A resident of JetBrains' startup incubator, Spectrum enjoys startup speed and autonomy, and is backed by 25 years of developer tooling expertise. We are looking for a Senior ML Researcher to develop the core methods that make Spectrum possible – novel approaches to temporal ontology extraction, contradiction detection, and semantic alignment across heterogeneous software artifacts. You will help define and execute the research agenda, while also collaborating with JetBrains Research and external academic advisors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing methods for LLM-based ontology construction from code, documentation, and issue trackers, including contradiction detection and reasoning over the resulting knowledge graph.
• Creating datasets, metrics, and benchmarks that drive measurable improvements across the system.
• Prototyping and validating research ideas, then collaborating with ML and software engineers to bring them to production.
• Collaborating with JetBrains Research and external academic advisors to shape our research agenda.
• Publishing research findings at top venues and representing Spectrum in the research community.

We expect you to have:

• A PhD (or equivalent research experience) in NLP, knowledge graphs, ontology learning, information extraction, or a closely related field.
• A strong publication record in at least one of the following areas: knowledge graph construction, ontology learning, information extraction, or NLP.
• Experience applying LLMs to structured knowledge extraction tasks.
• Experience designing and running rigorous experiments, including hypothesis formulation, ablation studies, and statistical evaluation.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills, with the ability to implement research ideas from scratch.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Our ideal candidate would also have:

• Experience with ontology engineering, semantic web technologies (OWL, RDF, SPARQL), or ontology alignment.
• A background in code analysis, developer tools, or software engineering research.
• Experience with knowledge graph embedding methods or graph neural networks.
• Experience in early-stage startups – you enjoy the zero-to-one phase.
• Actively contributed to relevant open-source projects.

What we offer:

• A competitive salary and JetBrains benefits.
• A generous runway and corporate resources with startup autonomy.
• Full support for publishing ML research and attending industry conferences.
• Collaboration with JetBrains Research and external academic advisors in the knowledge graph and ontology learning community.
• A motivated team that moves fast, with short feedback loops, rapid prototyping, and lots of ownership.
• A rare applied research role where your methods ship in a real product used by software teams.

Why join JetBrains?

• Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
• Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.
• Remote work. Spend up to 30 days per year working remotely from abroad.
• Extra time off. More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love.
• Medical insurance allowance. Enjoy peace of mind for you and your family
• Learning and development opportunities. Access to conferences, courses, and language classes.
• Language classes. Pick up the local language or sharpen your English skills.
• Fuel your day. Enjoy a hot meal or receive a lunch allowance on workdays.
• Mental health support. To help you feel your best, we provide easy access to professional mental health services.
• Sports benefit. Enjoy an on-site gym or sports club stipend.

Research Engineer (Kineto)

JetBrains

📍 Limassol
🏢 Kineto
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Remote for Cyprus

Описание вакансии

Kineto (kineto.app) is an AI startup backed by JetBrains. We’re building the next creator stack – tools that help creators talk to their audience in new ways, turn ideas into content, and build sustainable businesses – powered by LLMs and agents.

We’re now looking for a Research Engineer with a strong grounding in engineering or ML who wants to turn ideas into shipped products.

How we work

We move fast and iterate. We ship early, measure results, and improve quickly. If something works, we double down. If it doesn’t, we cut it. Delivery and measurement are part of the culture, and everyone owns outcomes end to end.

In this role, you will:

• Ship AI product features that combine engineering and ML.
• Build and improve agent workflows (tooling, retries, guardrails, fallbacks).
• Improve the latency, cost, and reliability of our systems.
• Track what’s new in the AI space (agent teams, methods, tooling) and turn it into shipped products.
• Build self-improving loops: systems that run experiments, learn from feedback and evals, and improve the product over time.

We’d be happy to have you on our team if you:

• Have shipped real systems, not just demos or prototypes.
• Have built software with LLMs (structured outputs/function calling, tool use, reliability work).
• Have built agents (multi-step workflows that call tools, keep states, and handle failures).
• Have set up evals to track quality (tests, regression checks, eval harnesses).
• Feel comfortable moving fast, iterating, and owning outcomes end to end.

Senior Enterprise Account Executive - New Business

JetBrains

📍 Limassol
🏢 Live Debugger
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Remote for Cyprus

Описание вакансии

Are you an enterprise sales professional who treats business development as a craft, not just a numbers game? Do you want to move past transactional, inbound-dependent selling to open major accounts from scratch, taking full ownership of the sales narrative for an early-stage product where technical credibility and strategic context matter?

About JetBrains

We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.

What you’ll do

Enterprise software sales requires deep technical curiosity and real ownership, especially when introducing a completely new product category. AppGlass is our new AI-powered production debugging product designed to help engineering teams investigate complex issues directly within running applications. Because this is an early-stage product, we are building our enterprise pipeline from the ground up, moving past inherited inbound funnels to establish direct relationships with engineering leaders.

In this role, you will lead the full outbound enterprise sales execution for AppGlass across Europe. You will work independently to self-source opportunities, map complex organization structures, and gain access to senior technical decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with our Product Lead to refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), funnel strategy, and product messaging based on real-world interactions. You will own the entire commercial relationship – from initial discovery through security, procurement, and contract execution – directly influencing how our product scales in the global enterprise market.

Day to day, you will:

• Identify and reach relevant engineering decision-makers within target enterprise accounts.
• Source your own sales pipeline through professional networking, targeted outreach, referrals, and industry events.
• Lead comprehensive discovery sessions and commercial conversations with technical champions and economic buyers.
• Drive enterprise pilot programs forward, ensuring clear alignment between user feedback and commercial goals.
• Navigate complex security reviews, legal negotiations, procurement cycles, and vendor onboarding processes.
• Negotiate and finalize B2B commercial agreements to secure new enterprise customers.
• Deliver structured feedback from prospects to product teams to help continuously refine positioning and features.

What you’ll bring

• A problem-solving mindset that enjoys turning early-stage product complexity into clear, structured business value.
• The autonomy to drive enterprise deals independently and take full accountability for the revenue outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical engineering concepts intelligently with developers and financial realities with executives.
• A commitment to building long-term trust with clients over securing quick, transactional wins.
• Resilience and adaptability when navigating the ambiguous, evolving landscape of a new product launch.

What you’ll need

• A proven track record of closing enterprise B2B sales for highly technical products, such as developer tools, observability, infrastructure, cloud, or security software.
• The demonstrated capability to open major enterprise accounts from zero without relying on pre-existing inbound leads.
• An established professional network among engineering leaders and senior technology executives.
• Hands-on experience navigating complex enterprise procurement, legal frameworks, compliance hurdles, and information security evaluations.
• Strong command of strategic outbound pipeline generation methodologies.
• Fluency in written and spoken English for daily collaboration across international teams and client organizations.

What success looks like

Success means establishing predictable, scalable enterprise sales for AppGlass. You will earn the trust of the team by consistently securing qualified meetings with enterprise decision-makers and turning raw outreach into active, progressing pilot programs. You win when you navigate complex security and procurement hurdles smoothly, converting early-stage pilots into stable, long-term paid commercial agreements that validate our market positioning and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Why join JetBrains?

• Strong base salary – We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
• Flexible work schedule – Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.
• Extra time off – More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love.
• Learning and development opportunities – Access to conferences, courses, and language classes.
• Relocation support – Assistance to help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
• Free meals and snacks – Lunch and refreshments provided to keep you fueled.
• Health and wellness – On-site gyms or sports club stipends.
• Internal events – Company-wide celebrations and team gatherings.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We know great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere. That’s why we do our best to create an open and inclusive workplace – one that welcomes everyone regardless of their background, identity, religion, age, accessibility needs, or orientation.

If this approach to building enterprise relationships matches your style, we would love to receive your application.

You are an experienced medior legal professional who thrives on an international stage but isn't afraid to be fully hands-on. You know how to navigate complex global corporate structures, cross-border transactions, and intra-group frameworks across multiple continents. While your daily scope spans an international portfolio, you also bring strong, localized subject-matter expertise in either Polish or Cypriot corporate law to anchor our legal operations in these key regions.

As JetBrains expands internationally, we need an adaptable legal counsel to step into our complex global architecture, navigate our fluid tech environment, and help us (re)build our cross-border frameworks and intra-group mechanisms into clear, scalable structures. In this broad role, you will have ownership of a diverse international entity portfolio and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.

You need to be a pragmatic team player who values project execution at every level - taking pride in driving cross-border projects, while staying completely comfortable executing the vital daily (administrative) corporate needs, policies, resolutions, and intercompany agreements that keep our global operations secure.

Day to day, you will:

• Manage and coordinate international corporate legal workstreams, including from time to time entity incorporations, reorganizations, capital contributions, cross-border financing, and liquidations.
• Execute ongoing corporate maintenance and legal administration for group companies across various EU and non-EU jurisdictions, handling corporate needs, approvals, resolutions, and powers of attorney.
• Draft, review, and maintain the global intra-group contractual framework, ensuring a.o. service contracts and cost-allocation agreements align with our operating model.
• Act as the internal subject-matter expert for Polish or Cypriot corporate law while simultaneously handling broader international entity portfolios.
• Coordinate with internal tax, finance, treasury, and HR teams to ensure corporate actions support global business and operational logic.
• Research, review and synthesize legal advice from networks of external counsel around the world, turning complex local regulations into clear, actionable recommendations for our internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to our legal department’s baseline focus on efficiency by proactively finding opportunities to integrate legal tech, automation, and AI workflows into our global document processes.

What you’ll bring

• A global-first mindset. You think in terms of international structures and multi-jurisdictional impacts, naturally looking at how local actions affect the global group.
• A balance of strategy and execution. You can run complex legal projects end-to-end and gladly handle the operational, hands-on administrative tasks required to complete them.
• Comfort with cross-functional work. You can navigate ambiguity, figure things out independently, and enjoy bringing order, logic, and structure to fluid environments.
• Clear, jargon-free communication. You translate dense legal realities into plain, actionable advice that cross-functional teams understand instantly.
• Strong project ownership. You take accountability for outcomes rather than just managing task lists, keeping parallel initiatives moving forward under tight deadlines and pro-actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to make it happen.

What you’ll need

• A university degree in law and legal experience (3-5 years) focused on corporate law and international intra-group frameworks, ideally gained within a multinational tech environment or international law firm.
• Proven experience working with legislative systems across multiple jurisdictions (such as the Netherlands, China, USA or UK).
• Deep, practical knowledge of either Polish or Cypriot corporate law (experience in both is a massive plus).
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of coordinating multi-stakeholder legal workstreams globally.
• Professional fluency in English. Proficiency in an additional language - either Polish or Greek.
• A strong interest or practical experience in using legal automation, AI-assisted workflows, or knowledge-management tools to optimize processes.

What success looks like

• In your first 3 months: You will map out our global entity network, master our core intra-group operating models, and build strong ties with legal, tax and finance peers. You will begin taking direct ownership of ongoing corporate maintenance for your primary jurisdictions and supporting on a global level.
• In your first 6 months: You will independently drive more international corporate projects, such as cross-border reorganizations or structural updates together with other teams. Drafting, reviewing, researching and providing all other necessary legal support to successfully conclude the project.
• Over time: You will serve as a key player in for the corporate team in JetBrains' international architecture, successfully supporting and working on multi-jurisdictional legal workflows and projects independently while actively maintaining the legal compliance of your primary jurisdictions.

Why join JetBrains?

• Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.

To scale efficiently and stay flexible, we’re building a more structured approach to outsourced and contingent workforce hiring. We’re looking for an Outsourcing Talent Partner to own and develop this direction.

About the role

In this role, you’ll take ownership of how JetBrains hires temporary and contract-based talent across multiple locations. You’ll work at the intersection of recruitment, vendor management, and workforce planning—building a scalable and reliable outsourcing model.

You won’t just run processes—you’ll shape them, working closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to ensure we have the right talent, through the right channels, at the right time.

Senior Technical Product Manager (IntelliJ Kotlin Plugin)

JetBrains

📍 Limassol, Paphos
🏢 Kotlin Ecosystem
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Remote for Cyprus

Описание вакансии

At JetBrains, code is our passion. The Kotlin plugin for IntelliJ IDEA is where language meets experience — it's how hundreds of thousands of developers write, navigate, refactor, and understand Kotlin code every day. Being able to continuously improve it means understanding the language deeply, using the product daily, and deeply caring about Kotlin developers.

We're looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager who will own the Kotlin-in-IDE experience end to end. This is a deeply hands-on role. You will experiment with Kotlin in IntelliJ based IDEs every day, maintain reference projects that double as regression canaries and demo showcases, build prototypes with AI coding agents, analyze users feedback and talk to users. You won't manage from slides — you'll manage from the editor.

In this role, you will:

• Own the product vision for the Kotlin plugin: fast, correct, and trustworthy IDE support that evolves with the language.
• Use IntelliJ IDEA with the Kotlin plugin daily — dogfooding features, catching regressions, and validating the developer experience first-hand.
• Maintain and develop reference Kotlin projects that serve as showcases for new features, material for conference demos, and a living test bed for DX quality.
• Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept using AI coding agents to explore and validate new capabilities.
• Own and continuously adapt the plugin roadmap across short-term release goals, mid-term initiatives, and longer-term Kotlin ecosystem related projects.
• Align plugin planning with Kotlin compiler releases, IntelliJ IDEA release trains, and Android Studio constraints.
• Make explicit trade-offs and say "no" when cost, risk, or maintenance burden outweighs user value.
• Define problem statements, success criteria, and scope for features — then collaborate with engineers to validate and refine.
• Represent core Kotlin personas — JVM backend developers, library authors, Android and Multiplatform teams — and prioritize recurring pain points: false positives, slow analysis, unreliable refactorings, onboarding pain points, AI agents integrations.
• Run a consistent pipeline of monthly user interviews to ground decisions in real workflows.
• Coordinate with Kotlin language team, Developer Advocates, framework partners, Marketing, and other JetBrains teams.
• Create external visibility through what's-new posts, Kotlin User Groups meetup talks, and feature previews at events like KotlinConf, Spring I/O, Devoxx and others.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has professional software development experience in Java or Kotlin (this is a must).
• Has 5+ years of experience in technical product management or a comparable role in a complex technical domain.
• Is a hands-on product person who lives in the product, not someone who operates through reports and meetings alone.
• Has experience with AI coding tools and agents, and curiosity about how they reshape developer workflows.
• Can define clear roadmaps with problem statements, success criteria, and explicit trade-offs.
• Has strong communication skills in English — written and spoken — for both technical peers and executive audiences.
• Is ready to represent the product externally at conferences, in blog posts, and in community interactions.
• Takes developer experience personally — not as an abstract metric, but as something they feel in their own daily workflow.

We'd be especially thrilled if you:

• Have experience developing IntelliJ plugins or working with the IntelliJ Platform SDK.
• Have built or contributed to evaluation pipelines, benchmarks, or quality measurement systems.
• Have given technical talks or published content aimed at developer audiences.

• Relocation support. We help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
• Internal events. Join company-wide celebrations and team gatherings.

*Some benefits may vary depending on location.
