Platform Engineer (Cloud Services)
Nexcess
📍 Cyprus
💼 Full time
🏠 Remote for Cyprus
Описание вакансии
About Nexcess
Nexcess provides specialty cloud solutions for organizations where performance and compliance have to coexist. We serve businesses worldwide, from agencies scaling client sites to enterprises running mission-critical operations. We've built our reputation on deep technical expertise and genuine partnership with every client we work with. Behind every environment we manage is a team of people who take the craft seriously and keep showing up when it matters.
Cloud Services delivers the data protection, security, and edge services - SSL, email, EADN, and CDN/WAF - that keep our customers’ applications safe and performant.
You will own features end to end: the specification, the code, the tests and how it behaves in production. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, and you are the engineer who answers for whether what you shipped actually works.
The pull request is the visible part. The job is the machine behind it: turning a loosely worded need into something precise enough to build against, naming what can break before it does, proving the change is correct rather than asserting it, and staying with it once it is live.
How We Work
• Business alignment and focus come first. Engineering here exists to move the business, not to be busy. You will know which few things matter most this month and why, say so when the work in front of you is not one of them, and land what you committed to on dates the business can plan around, at a quality that does not come back as an incident or a customer escalation. Predictable, reliable delivery of quality software is the output of this job, and everything below is in service of it.
• This job gets more hands-on every quarter, not less. The volume of code goes up while the time you spend typing it goes down, so the value moves to the two ends of it: what you specify, and what you verify. You will stay close to production, run the AI harness daily, read code you did not write, and keep your technical judgment current rather than remembered.
• Whoever ships it owns it, regardless of what wrote it. Most code is AI-generated now, so the judgment moved to either side of it: specifying exactly what to build, and verifying that what came back is correct, secure and operable. An agent wrote it is not a defense. Your name is on the merge.
• You do not need to own the roadmap to know why the work matters. You will not be the Product counterpart at this level and you are not expected to be. You are expected to understand what the customer gets and what the business gains from the thing you are building, and to ask before you build the wrong thing correctly. The engineers who move fastest here are the ones who ask that question early rather than at the review.
• You go on call for what you build, and you take your turn on the rotation. Engineering declares risk and timelines in writing for the business to accept, and that includes yours: when a date is at risk you say so early, with evidence, rather than quietly.
Responsibilities
• Own platform features end to end within the Cloud Services domain. Take work from specification through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing production support.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear specifications. Identify unknowns and dependencies early, clarify ambiguity before development starts, and make sure the solution is precise enough to build and operate reliably.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation. Work with Linux-based environments, configuration management tooling, and infrastructure components that support secure and highly available services.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools as part of your daily workflow. Apply agentic tooling for implementation and review, while remaining accountable for the quality, security, and operability of the final result.
• Verify changes with evidence. Write and maintain tests, validate failure scenarios as well as the happy path, and provide clear evidence that changes are ready for production.
• Review code and technical changes from other engineers. Identify design or operational risks early, provide clear and actionable feedback, and help maintain a high standard of engineering quality.
• Mentor less experienced engineers. Share technical knowledge, explain the reasoning behind solutions, and support others through design, implementation, and review.
• Own the services you run. Participate in the on-call rotation, respond to incidents, document findings and follow-up actions, and reduce operational toil through automation and improved tooling.
• Work safely in existing and unfamiliar systems. Understand and improve legacy or complex infrastructure without unnecessary rewrites, and leave systems better documented and instrumented than you found them.
• Coordinate dependencies directly with other teams. Identify cross-team needs early and work with the relevant engineers to resolve them before they become delivery blockers.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience working with cloud computing infrastructure and production environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux server administration.
• 5+ years of experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure reliability, availability, security, and production operations.
• Experience building, maintaining, and supporting production systems, including ownership after deployment.
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation and responding to production incidents.
• Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar systems and troubleshoot across different parts of a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools as part of day-to-day technical work.
• Strong testing and validation habits, with a focus on proving changes work correctly before and after deployment.
• Clear written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across multiple time zones.
Preferred
• Experience with CDN, WAF, and server security.
• Experience in managed hosting, cloud platforms, or other high-availability service environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation at scale.
• Experience reviewing infrastructure changes and mentoring other engineers.
We offer
• Visa support and relocation assistance.
• Daily lunches in the office.
• Work in a team of professionals at an international level.
• Comfortable working conditions.
• Opportunity to practice and improve your English.
• Competitive salary and all necessary equipment.
• Medical insurance.

Quantitative Researcher - Pricing
IC
📍 Limassol
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 Work mode not specified
Описание вакансии
Join our dynamic team at IC as a Quantitative Researcher and help shape the future of FinTech innovation. This full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Limassol offers you the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment. Apply now and take the next step in your career with us!
Who We Are:
IC is a global leader in trading with over 15 years of success, a strong international presence, and a team of skilled professionals, remains at the forefront of financial technology innovation. As an agile company that values growth and collaboration, we offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic industry where innovation meets excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
IC operates technology-driven trading and financial services business across a broad range of global markets, including FX, Metals, Indices, Commodities, Crypto. Market data and pricing inputs are sourced from multiple liquidity sources, each with different characteristics in terms of liquidity, latency and quality, and are analysed in the context of prevailing market conditions. Doing this well, at scale, across asset classes with very different microstructure is the core quantitative problem of the business. This role exists to build the next generation of that capability: models rather than static schedules.
You will own quantitative research projects end to end. The question is concrete: what is the fair price for this instrument right now, and how should it move with conditions and flow? You take it from hypothesis through modelling, simulation and validation to a production implementation built with our developers. Work that survives out-of-sample goes live and is measured; work that does not is dropped. You will work day to day with the trading, technology and other relevant IC teams with access to extensive market, quote, order and execution data across the instruments and markets relevant to IC’s activities.
This role is suited to someone who has built or calibrated pricing for a real quoting engineand wants to do it again with more asset classes, more data and fewer layers between research and production.
What You’ll Do:
• Reference price: Design and calibrate the price we build from multiple liquidity sources: source selection and weighting, stale and outlier handling, tick-time alignment and depth aggregation, with latency and quality measured per source.
• Dynamic pricing: Build dynamic spread, mark-up and price-adjustment models that respond to volatility, liquidity, inventory and order-flow characteristics, over horizons from milliseconds to full sessions.
• Signals: Research short-horizon predictive signals and flow-informed adjustments, and quantify what each is worth in spread capture net of hedge cost, not just in prediction accuracy.
• Multi-asset: Extend methods across asset classes: understand where FX, metals, index, commodity and crypto microstructure differ and where a single framework holds.
• Validation: Backtest, simulate, then run live in shadow. State your assumptions, especially how volume responds to spread; define what would show a model has degraded; and analyse how a counterparty could exploit it.
• Production: Take models live with our developers, own the mathematics inside the running system, monitor performance and retire what stops working.
Qualifications:
Essential
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience building and operating production data systems
• Minimum 5 years owning a production trading data platform at a broker, proprietary trading firm, market maker, bridge or trading-technology vendor, or exchange- adjacent business.
• You have priced electronically in a bank eFX desk, non-bank market maker, proprietary or high-frequency trading firm, hedge fund or brokerage quoting engine, and can describe a pricing model you built, what it earned and how it failed.
• Market microstructure: Deep working knowledge of adverse selection and markouts, latency and last look, inventory management, and how session structure and liquidity regimes move the fair price.
• Modelling: Strong applied statistics and time-series modelling on high-frequency data; machine learning where it earns its place; the judgement to know when a backtest is overfit.
• Python: Fluent research Python, comfortable with large tick datasets and SQL on columnar stores.
• Delivery: Able to take a problem from hypothesis through modelling, validation and production, and to explain the mechanism, not just the result, to traders and engineers.
Desirable
• C++, Rust or other high-performance production experience.
• Optimisation and simulation of quoting under inventory and risk constraints.
• Understanding of retail CFD and FX broker economics: spreads, hedging, liquidity providers and the flow patterns retail brokers see.
• Experience with MT4, MT5 or cTrader data, and with liquidity bridges or aggregators such as oneZero.
The interview process is short and technical. You will be asked to reason about a pricing
problem on data and to walk through your own past work, not to recite definitions.
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 (Hybrid Model after 2 months - 3 days from the office, 2 days from home)

Senior Platform Engineer & Technical Lead
SHAI Cyprus
📍 Limassol
💼 Full time
🏠 On-site
Описание вакансии
SHAI (CY) Ltd is an AI-native automation platform. We build AI-first solutions across industries, starting from a deep first engagement in financial services (brokerage, fund administration, compliance) and expanding wherever we find a client and a problem worth solving.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer & Technical Lead to join our team in Limassol. You will take technical ownership of the platform architecture, lead its stabilization, and manage a team, ensuring strong technical direction and effective delivery. Your focus will be on building a robust, scalable platform where new workflows can be added primarily through configuration and content rather than fresh engineering, while ensuring the platform can withstand regulatory and client scrutiny.
Responsibilities
Architecture ownership
· Define and freeze the platform skeleton: workflow definitions as data, instance state, transitions, events and audit trail.
· Own the data model across departments (front office, compliance, back office, HR, etc) and the rules for how workflows share and isolate data.
· Design and enforce the role-based access and need-to-know segregation layer, including the defects already identified in front-office review (downstream roles seeing client account details).
· Set the integration pattern for external systems (execution venues, portfolio system of record, e-mail intake, OCR) so each connector follows one contract.
· Decide, or confirm, the backend stack and the conventions the team commits to; record these as architecture decision records.
Delivery leadership
· Lead the engineers technically: code review, design review, sequencing of the remaining refactor, and a clear definition of when the refactor is finished.
· Break the current rewrite into bounded, shippable increments so workflow delivery restarts within the first quarter rather than after it.
· Work with the QA Engineer to establish automated test coverage for the engine and the matching/reconciliation logic, including partial fills, cancellations and multi-ticket cases.
· Eliminate single points of failure: produce a module ownership map and ensure every critical module has a written handover and a second engineer who can operate it.
Working with the AI layer
· Define the boundary between deterministic workflow logic and AI agents: which decisions agents may take, which they may only propose, and how every agent action is logged with provenance.
· Partner with the AI/Agent Engineer to integrate the agent runtime into the platform’s core controls.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by Management to support the needs and objectives of the business.
Requirements
· Good command of English.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
· 8+ years of backend or platform engineering, at least 3 of them owning the architecture of a production system.
· Have designed and shipped a workflow, statemachine, orchestration or case-management engine — BPM-style systems, order-management or ticketing platforms, or similar.
· Strong data modelling and relational database design; comfortable reasoning about audit trails, event logs and immutable records.
· Hands-on with a modern backend stack (Python or TypeScript/Node preferred) and containerised deployment.
· Have led engineers technically: design and code review, conventions, and saying no to changes that re-open settled decisions.
· Clear written communication — able to produce architecture decision records and handover documents others can act on.
· Good problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
· Experience in a regulated environment (brokerage, banking, insurance, payments) with authorization, segregation of duties and audit-evidence requirements.
· Experience integrating with financial market systems (execution venues, portfolio or custody systems, e-mail-driven intake).
· Has worked alongside or built platforms that embed LLM agents, and holds a view on where deterministic logic ends and the model begins.
· Experience taking a small team out of a refactor loop and back into delivery.
We offer:
• Employment in AI-oriented firm
• Competitive salary
• 21 annual leave days, 5 sick days per year.
• Opportunity to work in an international environment with room for professional growth.
• Support in continuous development.
• Visa sponsorship if applicable

AI / Agent Engineer
SHAI Cyprus
📍 Limassol
💼 Full time

Описание вакансии
Company Description
SHAI (CY) Ltd is an AI-native automation platform. We build AI-first solutions across industries, starting from a deep first engagement in financial services (brokerage, fund administration, compliance) and expanding wherever we find a client and a problem worth solving.
About the Role
We are looking for an AI / Agent Engineer to join our team in Limassol. You will help build and maintain reliable, measurable, and controlled AI agents across the platform. This includes evaluating agent behavior before changes are released, monitoring and tracing agents in production, implementing guardrails, and keeping clear documentation of how decisions are made. This is an engineering role focused on the underlying AI agent runtime, reliability, monitoring, evaluation, and controls needed to operate agents safely and consistently at scale.
Responsibilities
Evaluation and regression
· Build an evaluation harness: a curated suite of real cases per workflow that every agent must pass, run
· automatically on each change, with pass rates tracked over time.
· Establish a failure taxonomy for the agents (wrong tool call, hallucinated field, missed escalation, unsafe
· action, formatting drift) and route fixes to root causes rather than symptoms.
· Own the release gate: no agent change reaches the product without evaluation results.
Observability
· Implement tracing of every agent run - prompts, tool calls, intermediate reasoning, outputs and latency - so a failure can be diagnosed in minutes and reproduced deterministically.
· Feed agent traces into the platform's audit trail with provenance, satisfying the need to show who or what
· took a decision and on what basis.
Guardrails and control
· Design deterministic guardrails around the model: structured outputs with schema validation, allowed-action lists per role and workflow stage, confidence thresholds and mandatory human confirmation points.
· Define, with the Technical Lead, which decisions agents may take autonomously, which they may only propose, and how exceptions and overrides are logged.
· Manage model and prompt versioning so behaviour is reproducible and rollback is possible.
Architecture and cost
· Contribute to the system architecture for the agent runtime: tool interfaces, retrieval, context management and state, so agents sit inside the platform's control points rather than around them.
· Monitor and manage inference cost and latency per workflow; select models and patterns on evidence.
· Coach the existing engineers and the AI/UX specialist in evaluation-driven development.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by Management to support the needs and objectives of the business.
Requirements
· Good command of English.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
· 5+ years of software engineering with at least 2 years building LLM-based agents or assistants that reached production and were maintained there.
· Have built evaluation pipelines and regression suites for model behaviour, and can explain how they measured improvement.
· Hands-on experience with tracing and observability for LLM systems (OpenTelemetry-style tracing, LangSmith/Langfuse/Arize-type tooling or equivalent built in-house).
· Strong experience with Python; comfortable with API design, structured outputs/JSON schema, tool-calling patterns and retrieval.
· Can articulate a failure taxonomy for agents and the controls that address each class.
· Good problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
· System-architecture experience: has designed how an agent runtime integrates with a larger platform (state, tools, permissions, audit).
· Experience in a regulated setting where AI outputs had to be explainable and auditable.
· Familiarity with document-heavy workflows: OCR, extraction verification, e-mail-driven intake.
· Experience managing inference cost and latency at production scale.
· Experience taking AI projects from prototype to production.
· Interest in keeping up with the latest AI developments
· Russian or Greek is useful but not required.
We offer:
• Employment in AI-oriented firm
• Competitive salary

Recognised globally as a Best Place to Work, we’re a people-first company where long-term wins always matter more. As part of our team, you will shape the future of fintech with real technology, care, and purpose.
Why this role matters
This is a player-coach role for someone who wants both sides of the job. You will lead a team of CY based TA professionals and personally close the searches that matter most: senior, niche and critical roles across global markets. You will set the bar for how we hire.
What you'll actually do
Lead the team
• Coach recruiters in sourcing, assessment, stakeholder management and problem solving
• Set priorities and delivery standards - allocate and rebalance vacancies by business priority, capacity and expertise
• Catch pipeline and workload risks early and step into complex searches yourself
Own the hardest searches
• Run senior, niche and business-critical hiring end to end, from intake to accepted offer
• Headhunt passive talent across markets and build pipelines for the roles the business will need next
Advise the business
• Be a trusted TA partner to hiring managers and senior leaders: sharp intakes, calibration and clear, evidence-based recommendations
• Bring market intelligence on talent availability, compensation and competitor moves, and challenge requirements when the data says so
• Develop recruitment strategies to support launching the new offices in the new markets
Drive with data and projects
• Own team metrics and turn bottlenecks into actions
• Join cross-team projects on process improvement and automation, including AI
• Shape our Employer Brand with the EB team through content, events and positioning in key talent markets
Why you'll grow fast here
• Fintech compresses years into months - You'll hire across trading, engineering, product, risk and compliance side by side and learn how each part of a global fintech actually works
• International scale - Multi-market hiring across the globe builds a profile few TA leaders have
• Real influence - Your data and market insight support workforce decisions, directly delivered to C-level
• Room to build - You get a modern stack of technologies, tools, platforms and a mandate to automate and redesign how we hire
Who we’re looking for
• 6+ years of hands-on TA in an international, fast-paced environment
• Multi-function and multi-market experience is a must
• Proven experience leading or coaching recruiters while staying in delivery
• A true headhunter, with a track record of closing senior, niche and hard-to-fill roles
• Data-driven: you read a funnel, find the bottleneck and fix it
• A confident advisor who can push back on senior stakeholders with evidence
What we offer along the way
• Competitive salary and annual performance bonus
• Full relocation support for you and your family — flights, housing, visas, and legal assistance included
• Top-tier health insurance with full family coverage — medical, dental, vision, mental health — plus life insurance for peace of mind
• Unlimited learning opportunities: external courses, English lessons, career and leadership development
• Education allowance covering school and kindergarten fees
• 21 working days of annual leave, plus public holidays and fully paid sick, maternity, and paternity leave

• Branded MINI Cooper Countryman company car and private parking
• Free in-house sports clubs, Sanctum Club gym access, and jet skis
• Access to a Corporate doctor

Executive Assistant & Operations Manager, The Vaut
#vacancy
We are a digital-asset infrastructure group. We build institutional custody technology and operate regulated entities in Cyprus (CySEC MiCA CASP licence), Switzerland (VQF SRO membership), the UK and the UAE. A new entity in Georgia is being set up now.
The first part of the role is executive support to the CEO: calendar, meetings, decisions and follow-ups.
The second part is operations support across the group, working with the COO: keeping company documents in order, preparing document sets and KYB packs, and taking on practical tasks that need to be done, collected or coordinated.
Requirements
• 3+ years as an executive assistant or operations manager, ideally in a group with several companies or a regulated financial company.
• Experience with company documents and KYB packs for banks and EMIs. Cyprus is a strong advantage.
• Very organised and self-directed: calendars, registers and follow-up lists are your normal way of working.
• Good written English: you can draft a letter or a memo that needs little correction.
• Able to move tasks forward through people who do not report to you, including senior ones.
• Absolute discretion: you will see the CEO's calendar, personal matters and confidential company data.
• Comfortable with task trackers and shared document systems.
• Strongly preferred: experience in a regulated environment (CySEC, MiCA or VQF); exposure to bank or EMI onboarding from the client side.
Benefits
• Competitive salary;
• Annual performance bonus;

Benefits
• Competitive salary;
• Annual performance bonus;
• Access to our Limassol offices, including daily drinks and snacks, as well as parking facilities;
• Working hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 in the office. Outside of these hours, it is important to remain available and responsive to the CEO;
