About us
Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus.
We are working on Total Battle — a cross-platform MMO 4X strategy game with a deep social system and extensive player interaction. We have 2 million monthly active players and are continuing to grow, with the goal of becoming the #1 game in the genre.
Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
About the role
At Scorewarrior, we're making a long-term investment in Building Blocks — a new generation of self-service internal products with clear interfaces, contracts, and documentation that game teams can adopt independently.
Localization Hub is the first Building Block.
Today, Localization Hub, together with Crowdin, powers localization workflows across Scorewarrior — from translation tracking, analytics, and reporting to automated translation quality checks and an AI-powered localization assistant.
Our next goal is to transform Localization Hub into the first fully self-service Building Block, enabling content teams to localize standard features independently while the lead focuses on high-level decisions.
The engineering team behind Localization Hub will establish the architecture, engineering standards, and practices that future Building Blocks will build upon.
What you'll do
• Build and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Lead the technical evolution of Localization Hub while ensuring continuous product development.
• Remain hands-on by contributing to architecture, technical design, code reviews, and key implementation work, especially during the team's early stages.
• Drive the migration of the existing platform to a scalable engineering architecture.
• Establish engineering standards, development processes, and delivery practices that scale.
• Partner closely with Product to translate business priorities into engineering execution.
• Coach engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, and career development.
• Drive the adoption of AI where it meaningfully improves engineering productivity and product capabilities.
• Help establish engineering approaches that can be reused across future Building Blocks.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an engineering leader who enjoys transforming existing products, building strong engineering teams, and shaping technical direction.
Required
• Proven experience building and growing engineering teams.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineers.
• Experience designing and evolving production software architectures.
• Experience delivering internal platforms, developer tooling, or complex backend systems.
• Experience balancing long-term platform investments with continuous product delivery.
• A strong understanding of software architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, and engineering quality.
• Experience partnering closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Technical expertise
We value strong engineering fundamentals over experience with a specific technology stack, but you should feel comfortable working with modern backend technologies.
Experience with any of the following is highly valued:
• TypeScript, Go, or other modern backend technologies.
• Service-oriented architecture and API design.
• Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI-powered products or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Nice to have
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or DevEx products.
• Experience with localization platforms, CAT/TMS tools, or translation workflows.
• Experience in game development or LiveOps products.
• Experience building self-service internal products.
Why join us
This isn't a role focused on maintaining an existing engineering organization.
You'll be helping to build one.
You'll be transforming an existing platform into the first Building Block at Scorewarrior, building the engineering team behind it, and defining the engineering standards that future Building Blocks will follow.
If you're excited about solving organizational and technical challenges that have company-wide impact, we'd love to hear from you.
What we offer
• An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary
• Full relocation coverage for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol)
• A modern, sunny office close to the sea
• Private health insurance for you and your family members
• A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children
• Lunch compensation
• A sports and fitness allowance
• Company-funded personal development opportunities (professional and language courses, books, etc.)
• Bonuses for outstanding results, years of service, marriage, and childbirth
• Friendly monthly office parties and epic annual offsite company birthday and Christmas celebrations

Senior Client C++ Developer (Core team)
Scorewarrior
📍 Limassol
🏢 Core
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 On-site
Описание вакансии
Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus.
The company focuses on the 4X strategy genre, with an ambitious goal of growing our game, Total Battle, into the No. 1 strategy game in the world.
Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
Our mission: to unite and excite people all over the world.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Client Developer for the Core Team to work on key game project functionalities. We strive for simplicity, scalability, maintainability, and excellent quality in our solutions. Our team's main goal and challenge is to deliver outstanding technical design while ensuring quality, flexibility, and ease of development for game features.
In this role you will develop our system – its architecture, APIs, contracts, and reusable modules, and as well implement and generalize specific game mechanics, turning successful solutions into new “building blocks” for the entire company.
Tasks to be solved
• Creating and supporting core modules
Moving code (e.g., map logic, metagameplay) to the core area of responsibility through auditing, refactoring, and separation into modules.
• Redesign and refactoring
Developing universal mechanisms for in-game special offers, promotions, buffs, and effects – allowing feature teams to configure specific cases without having to make core edits.
Refining the HotReload system (which allows us to seamlessly update configurations and functionality in different environments).
Designing an "instances" system (separate locations/scenes/subsystems) with special game rules.
• Accelerating the integration of new mechanics
Identifying typical scenarios and migrating repetitive code into reusable core components.
Creating a convenient API and clear documentation (guides, FAQs, and examples).
• Maintaining core code quality
Decomposition, reviewing code, and refactoring large fragments without the need for huge disruptive changes.
To succeed, you will need
• 6+ years of commercial development,
• Knowledge of C++ or willingness to transition to this programming language.
• Experience with 2D/3D game engines (e.g., Cocos2d-x, Unity, or their equivalents).
• Experience in creating or supporting complex game projects (strategy, MMORPG, and/or open world) or large mobile titles with continuous server sync.
• Experience developing reusable client-side logic / shared modules.
• The ability to navigate engine architecture and enhance/expand basic modules as needed.
• Experience in developing core libraries or tools for developer teams (internal framework, plugins, and scripts).
• Knowledge of patterns and design principles (SOLID, GOF, KISS, and YAGNI) and the ability to properly decompose tasks and extract reusable components.
• The ability to work with profilers, templates, memory, and multithreading in practice.
• An understanding of key components (render, layers/scenes, animations/timelines, and Prefab).
• Performance optimization: profiling, render tracing, and memory handling.
• The ability to write testable code (unit tests, integration tests, and automation tests).
• A basic understanding of build pipelines (iOS/Android) and mobile app lifecycles.
The following would be to your advantage
• Experience in writing or running performance tests (load and stress tests).
• Experience in developing with C# (2–3 years). The ability to read others' code and modify modules in Unity as needed.
• Extensive knowledge of game development tools and libraries (Spine/DragonBones, UI solutions, analytics SDK, etc.).
• Experience with software architectures: MVC, MVP, MVVM, ECS.
What we offer
• A Great Place to Work. 99% employee satisfaction, low turnover, and colleagues who genuinely enjoy collaborating.
• Live and work in sunny Cyprus. We’re an office-first team in Limassol with a modern seaside workspace, and full relocation and visa support for you and your family.
• Shape a global hit. We’re the only European studio with a 4X strategy title in the world’s top-10. Our top-50 mobile game has grown 25x in revenue and audience in the last five years.
• Grow fast in a company that’s already strong. We’re independent, financially rock-solid, and expanding at startup speed, and we have never had lay-offs.
• Work where ideas win. Flat structure, collective decision-making, and honest feedback create full transparency and help you grow fast.
• Earn industry-leading rewards. High salaries, a 13th month, performance bonuses, and extra rewards for long service, marriage, or welcoming a child, and lunch every day.
• Feel supported at every stage of life. Private family health insurance, plus a monthly allowance for children’s pre-school, school, and university education.
• Your growth is our priority. From specialized training and certifications to language courses and books, you’ll have everything you need to keep learning.

Senior Backend C++ Developer (Framework Team)
Scorewarrior
📍 Limassol
🏢 Platform
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 On-site
Описание вакансии
Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus. The company focuses on the 4X strategy genre, with an ambitious goal to grow its hit game, Total Battle, to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
Our product: We are currently working on Total Battle — an MMO 4X strategy game with a deep political system and lots of player interaction. Players take on the role of a commander and need to develop their city, forge alliances, fight against monsters, and conquer other players. We're constantly developing new game mechanics, and the project is continuing to grow.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the Framework Team building tools used by fellow engineers and powering game services across the company. You will work with modern C++ (17/20), asynchronous systems, network communications (S2S), high-load services, and distributed architectures.
What do we do:
• Design and develop core SDK/framework modules with clean abstractions to enable simple, fast, and high-quality game logic development.
• Gather requirements and design APIs, protocols, and service-to-service interaction contracts.
• Build asynchronous and multithreaded code with high performance in mind.
• Work with S2S communications: idempotency, transactions, and guaranteed delivery in distributed systems.
• Design and evolve ORM and data persistence layers (PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Ensure scalability, stability, and fault tolerance of backend services.
• Work with legacy code—simplify, refactor, and increase reliability without downtime or production risks.
• Implement observability: metrics, logs, tracing.
• Improve developer tools and DevEx — CMake, Conan, Python tooling, CI/CD scripts, Docker.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, mentoring, and R&D exploration.
What we expect:
• Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, break down work, and deliver to production independently.
• 3+ years of backend development experience on a statically typed language under Linux.
• 3+ years of commercial experience with C++17/20.
• Strong knowledge of asynchrony and multithreading (threads, futures, coroutines, atomics).
• Understanding of network communication (REST/RPC (gRPC), HTTP, WebSocket, TCP).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (DDL/DML, transactions, indexes, migrations).
• Solid software design skills: Software Design, SOLID, Clean Code, IoC/DI, composition, GoF patterns.
• Experience working with distributed and high-load systems.
• Understanding of System Design: scaling, degradation, caching, SLA/SLO/SLI.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and build systems (CMake, Docker, Jenkins/GitLab).
• Familiarity with testing and performance tools (GTest, Valgrind, Perf, Sanitizers).
What we offer:
• The best team in the world!
• An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
• Relocation package for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
• A modern and sunny office close to the sea.
• Private health insurance for you and your family members.
• A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children.
• Lunch compensation and a sports and fitness allowance.
• Personal development opportunities paid for by the company: professional and language courses, books, etc.
• Bonuses for outstanding results, years worked, getting married, and the birth of a child.
• Friendly monthly office parties and epic, annual offsite company birthday and Christmas parties.

Partnership & YouTube Community Manager
Scorewarrior
📍 Limassol
🏢 Art
💼 Employment type not specified
🏠 On-site
Описание вакансии
Total Battle has 10 million monthly players and one goal: become the #1 strategy game in the world. You'll own how creators and players help us get there.
Right now our creator side is unstructured — no formal program, some creators drift toward gray-market and rule-breaking content, and our YouTube comments (where players form their first impression of the game) get only irregular attention. That's not a gap we want to patch — it's a system we want you to build.
Your mission: turn applicants into a reliable creator pipeline, turn YouTube comments into a brand-advocacy engine, and turn community signals into content that keeps players engaged, loyal, and vocal — making our audience a growth asset, not just a number.
Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus, focused on the 4X strategy genre with an ambitious goal: grow its hit game, Total Battle, into the No.1 strategy game in the world. Our team is 200+ passionate, self-driven professionals who love making high-quality games. Our product, Total Battle, is a cross-platform MMO 4X strategy game with a deep social system and extensive player interaction — develop your city, forge alliances, fight monsters, and conquer other players. This is a cross-functional role at the intersection of community management, creator relations, and content operations.
Why this role is worth your time• You build it, you own it. No ready-made processes here — you'll design the creator program end-to-end (scouting, onboarding, tiers, briefs, reviews, offboarding), and it'll be your system.
• Real stakes, not busywork. You'll turn unaware creators into conscious allies, protect the brand from fake growth and toxic content, and respond where public perception is actually formed.
• Operations + analytics, not just chatting with creators. You'll run quarterly reviews on referral registrations, retention, engagement, and sentiment — and make real continue/end calls on data.
• You strengthen a team, not fly solo. You'll work side by side with our content team, sharpen the channel strategy with community insight, and be the second specialist who gives the team room to breathe.
What you'll do• Build and run the creator program: Develop and manage Total Battle's creator / partnership program end-to-end.
• Scout and onboard creators: Find, evaluate, and onboard English-speaking creators against clear criteria.
• Manage partners across tiers: Guide creators through the program tiers and make sure agreed deliverables and contractual commitments are met.
• Keep creators briefed: Prepare and send creator briefs for new events, updates, and features, keeping deadlines, embargoes, and key messaging on track.
• Coordinate partner perks: Manage referral links, early news access, interviews, reposts, cross-promo, playtests, and other tier-based benefits.
• Run quarterly reviews: Track referral registrations, retention, engagement rate, and audience sentiment, and make data-driven decisions on warning, continuing, or ending partnerships.
• Protect the brand: Keep the creator space clean — catch fake growth, toxic content, and rule-breaking before it becomes a problem.
• Engage the community daily: Work with YouTube comments every day — reply to players, keep the conversation constructive, surface useful questions, and gather feedback.
• Spot UGC opportunities: Identify strong community moments in the comments and ideas for new videos and posts.
• Share audience insights: Deliver regular summaries to the team — what's resonating, what's raising questions, which topics are growing, and where risk is building.
• Strengthen the channel: Partner closely with the content team to sharpen our video and channel strategy through community insights and the creator ecosystem.
What you have• Relevant background: Experience in community management, creator partnerships, influencer marketing, or social media management within gaming.
• YouTube fluency: Hands-on experience with YouTube as a platform — comments, community tab, and creator workflows — and a clear sense of what a healthy, active community looks like.
• End-to-end creator management: Proven ability to manage creators from outreach and onboarding through relationship management, performance review, and continuation decisions.
• Strong communication in English: Excellent written and spoken English for communicating with creators and players.
• Sharp, on-brand writing: A talent for writing clearly, concisely, and in brand voice — briefs, emails, creator messages, and player-facing replies.
• Analytical mindset: You look beyond views to audience quality — engagement rate, sentiment, retention, and creator fit.
• Organized under load: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to keep multiple parallel workflows (creators, briefs, comments, reviews) moving without dropping the ball.
• Calm with communities: A constructive communication style and the confidence to work with player communities without escalating conflict.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with creator / ambassador programs in gaming.
• Understanding of midcore / strategy / live-ops products.
• Experience with Discord, creator databases, referral tracking, and basic performance reporting.
• Experience turning user feedback into content ideas, recurring formats, and community initiatives.
Where you'll workWe value face-to-face communication, and we strongly believe that genuine human interactions move us closer to our ambitious goal. This is part of our culture, and this is why this job offers no remote or hybrid work opportunities.
You will be working in Limassol, Cyprus. If you're not from around here, fear not! Our dedicated relocation team will provide comprehensive support helping you and your family move to Limassol.
What we offer• A team of professionals with a passion for gamedev and a drive to make Total Battle the #1 MMO 4X strategy game.
• An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
• Full relocation coverage for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
• A modern, sunny office close to the sea.
• Private health insurance for you and your family members.
• A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children.
• Lunch compensation.
• A sports and fitness allowance.
• Company-funded personal development opportunities (professional and language courses, books, etc.).
• Bonuses for outstanding results, years of service, marriage, and childbirth.
• Friendly monthly office parties and epic annual offsite company birthday and Christmas celebrations.
Ready to apply? If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Tell us about a creator relationship or player community you've helped grow — and let's talk.
