Legal Counsel

Strikerz Inc. is an international game studio behind UFL, a next-gen free-to-play football game on console, PC and mobile played by millions worldwide. We’re looking for a Legal Counsel.
This is a stand-alone role with a broad mandate. You’ll be the one person holding the group’s corporate perimeter together, working directly with senior management, Finance, shareholders and external providers.

What you’ll do:
Advise on corporate law and run day-to-day governance of the Company and group entities, owning the recurring corporate workflow end to end.
Maintain the corporate calendar (board and shareholder resolutions, POAs, director/officer changes, statutory filings). Keep constitutional documents, registers, certificates and UBO records complete and up to date.
Manage fiduciary providers, company secretaries and external counsel, including instructions, review, deadlines, quality and budgets.
Maintain the cap table and share capital records (issues, transfers, option exercises) and keep them consistent with the corporate registers and the Registrar.
Support the corporate side of M&A, restructurings and investments: due diligence, approvals, CPs and closing deliverables.
Work directly with shareholders and directors: tell them what’s needed and by when, collect decisions, signatures and documents, and drive matters to completion without management having to chase.
Handle shareholder loans and intragroup financing, from documentation and approvals to repayment or capitalisation, together with Finance, Tax and auditors.
Coordinate KYC/AML, due diligence and counterparty onboarding for banks, payment providers, auditors and counterparties.
Assess sanctions risks: screening, ownership/control analysis, documented conclusions and escalation of high-risk cases.
Draft and negotiate NCAs/NSAs with shareholders, founders and key employees, and assess whether they’re enforceable.
Run intercompany governance and documentation with affiliates.
Give written and verbal advice in an “options – residual risk – recommendation” format.

It would be great if you could also:
Build corporate compliance tooling: policies, templates, checklists, registers, screening and escalation workflows.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and turn them into practical process changes.
Bring hands-on experience with Cyprus employment law (employment, termination, ERGANI).

Requirements:
A law degree and 4–7+ years in a law firm and/or in-house, with substantial corporate law and governance exposure.
Hands-on experience with Cyprus entities (required), plus other jurisdictions and cross-border group structures.
Experience coordinating corporate secretarial and fiduciary providers and external counsel.
Practical knowledge of English law and EU regulations.
Comfortable handling a high volume of recurring operational tasks alongside project work.
Fluent Russian and English, including legal English.

Considered an advantage:
Background in an international tech, gaming, digital or fintech business.
Experience with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies.
Experience with M&A, restructurings or other transactions, including approvals and closing documentation.

We’re hiring a 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 at A-Players - a hands-on role for someone who wants to own a payment stack end-to-end.

The infrastructure is already live - a multi-PSP setup with orchestration on top - so this isn’t a build-from-zero role. It’s the opposite: the stack works, but it isn’t yet mature. Reconciliation, payment reporting, monitoring and incident management are only partly in place, and billing analytics is roughly halfway there.
Bringing those to a mature, reliable state is the core of this role.

Our ideal candidate has:
🔹 3+ years in payments / billing / payment operations - 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐁𝟐𝐂 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled System Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that software releases meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and usability.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Identify and document test scenarios, edge cases, and potential risks.
• Execute manual tests on various software applications, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, record, and document defects, and track their status through resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for recurring testing tasks.
• Work with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand software features and functionality.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment on testing requirements and progress.
• Report, track, and prioritize defects in defect-tracking tools.
• Verify fixes and ensure that defects are resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test results and coverage reports.
• Provide detailed feedback and status updates to the team on testing progress and findings.
• Actively contribute to improving QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing trends, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

About the Role

We are looking for an AI / Agent Engineer to join our team in Limassol. You will help build and maintain reliable, measurable, and controlled AI agents across the platform. This includes evaluating agent behavior before changes are released, monitoring and tracing agents in production, implementing guardrails, and keeping clear documentation of how decisions are made. This is an engineering role focused on the underlying AI agent runtime, reliability, monitoring, evaluation, and controls needed to operate agents safely and consistently at scale.

Responsibilities

Evaluation and regression

· Build an evaluation harness: a curated suite of real cases per workflow that every agent must pass, run

· automatically on each change, with pass rates tracked over time.

· Establish a failure taxonomy for the agents (wrong tool call, hallucinated field, missed escalation, unsafe

· action, formatting drift) and route fixes to root causes rather than symptoms.

· Own the release gate: no agent change reaches the product without evaluation results.

Observability

· Implement tracing of every agent run - prompts, tool calls, intermediate reasoning, outputs and latency - so a failure can be diagnosed in minutes and reproduced deterministically.

· Feed agent traces into the platform's audit trail with provenance, satisfying the need to show who or what

· took a decision and on what basis.

Guardrails and control

· Design deterministic guardrails around the model: structured outputs with schema validation, allowed-action lists per role and workflow stage, confidence thresholds and mandatory human confirmation points.

· Define, with the Technical Lead, which decisions agents may take autonomously, which they may only propose, and how exceptions and overrides are logged.

· Manage model and prompt versioning so behaviour is reproducible and rollback is possible.

Architecture and cost

· Contribute to the system architecture for the agent runtime: tool interfaces, retrieval, context management and state, so agents sit inside the platform's control points rather than around them.

· Monitor and manage inference cost and latency per workflow; select models and patterns on evidence.

· Coach the existing engineers and the AI/UX specialist in evaluation-driven development.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by Management to support the needs and objectives of the business.

Requirements

· Good command of English.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

· 1-3 years of software engineering with at least 1 year building LLM-based agents or assistants that reached production and were maintained there.

· Have built evaluation pipelines and regression suites for model behaviour, and can explain how they measured improvement.

· Hands-on experience with tracing and observability for LLM systems (OpenTelemetry-style tracing, LangSmith/Langfuse/Arize-type tooling or equivalent built in-house).

· Strong experience with Python; comfortable with API design, structured outputs/JSON schema, tool-calling patterns and retrieval.

· Can articulate a failure taxonomy for agents and the controls that address each class.

· Good problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

· System-architecture experience: has designed how an agent runtime integrates with a larger platform (state, tools, permissions, audit).

· Experience in a regulated setting where AI outputs had to be explainable and auditable.

· Familiarity with document-heavy workflows: OCR, extraction verification, e-mail-driven intake.

· Experience managing inference cost and latency at production scale.

· Experience taking AI projects from prototype to production.

· Interest in keeping up with the latest AI developments

· Russian or Greek is useful but not required.
